Best of Paris Fashion Week so far? We’re thinking YES! Nicola Formichetti pulled out all of the stops this Fall season for Thierry Mugler. Sticking with the brands glam 80s vibe, we see a slew of big white furs, wide shoulders (to compliment the modern power woman), sleek and interesting cuts, splashes of color, and even some intense prints. When it comes to craftsmanship and conceptual fantasy design, Mugler is one of the best. Love!
Mugler at Paris Fashion Week. Drawing from the Mugler archives (specifically the 1997 insect collection), these structured, body-conscious pieces with laser-cut details put a tough, edgy take on the feminine silhouette, which I loved.
And although Kevork Kiledjian named British actress Charlotte Rampling as the inspiration for their Fall 2012 collection, I still was reminded of that show at NYFW when I saw the dramatic designs here.

Paris Fashion Week is turning it OUT this season, and for the first time ever we have absolutely no review. Can we all just join hands and rejoice in the sheer and utter perfection that 25 year old Balmain designer, Olivier Rousteing, has created?
